Environment ministers of the G7 countries, meeting in Metz, France, yesterday strongly encouraged the International Resource Panel to continue its work to strengthen knowledge of resource efficiency to help decision-makers conceive and manage circular economy and resource efficiency policies and to find integrated and innovative energy solutions.
The ministers, in their final communique, welcomed the work of the Panel in improving knowledge on the economic and environmental impacts of natural resource use.
