This report is a terminal evaluation of a UNEP GEF project implemented between 2011 and 2013. The project was targeted at providing parliamentarians with knowledge, expertise, resources, and capacity to formulate and implement sound policies, programs, and practices for conservation and good natural resource management. This terminal evaluation had two primary purposes to provide evidence of results to meet accountability requirements; and to promote learning, feedback, and knowledge sharing through results and lessons learned among UNEP, GEF and their executing partners. In this light, the evaluation identified lessons of operational relevance for future project formulation and implementation.
