This report is a terminal evaluation of a UNEP-GEF project implemented between 2010 and 2013. The project`s overarching objective was to reduce the vulnerability to climate change through an ecosystems-based approach and integrated coastal management along the Caribbean coast of Guatemala, Honduras and Nicaragua, with special emphasis on the conservation and sustainable development of mangrove forests. The evaluation sought to assess project performance (in terms of relevance, effectiveness and efficiency), and determine outcomes and impacts (actual and potential) stemming from the project, including their sustainability.
