This report is a mid-term evaluation of a UNEP GEF project implemented between 2011 and 2014. The project piloted in five countries with an objective to reduce threats to globally important biodiversity through integrating the finding and tools of ecosystem services assessment in policy and decision making. The evaluation set out to provide evidence of results and the like hood of outcomes and impact in the future; to assess accountability requirements; and to identify challenges and risks to achievement of the project objectives an derive corrective actions to maximize project impact and sustainability.
