Director of the IGES Centre Collaborating with UNEP on Environmental Technologies (CCET) visited UNEP IETC

Mr. Onogawa, a director of The IGES Centre Collaborating with UNEP on Environmental Technologies (CCET) visited UNEP IETC.

Having a productive meeting with IETC staff, we are determined to amplify our work to influence governments on the waste sector on a wider scale.

Meeting with IETC staff

Since 2014, UNEP IETC has been cooperated with CCET with the aim of assisting national, regional and local governments in developing waste management systems that can minimize negative health and environmental impacts and in enabling the transition to resource efficient and sustainable societies.

CCET is supporting our counterpart governments in policy development, institutional capacity building, knowledge production, dissemination and networking towards sustainable waste and resource management.
