In Climate Action
  • Overview - World Adaptation Science Programme will focus on building an interface between the research community and decision-makers and other stakeholders involved in Vulnerability, Impacts and Adaptation
  • Modeling - Through modeling of accessible data, World Adaptation Science Programme will identify Vulnerability, Impacts and Adaptation, research gaps, priorities and critical emerging issues important to both the science and policy communities;
  • Observations and analyses - will be promoted in the communication between the community of researchers working on Vulnerability, Impacts and Adaptation issues and users, by providing a vehicle for exchanging new research results, encouraging cooperative work on specific research challenges, and providing a forum for analyzing and improving the relevance of research;
  • Capacity development -  will be promoted through sharing of knowledge and practices will specifically contribute to the capacity building of young scientists in developing countries to carry out scientific assessments of climate change Vulnerability, Impacts and Adaptation.
