Asia Pacific Green Public Procurement Partnership Project

Awareness-raising Workshop and Networking Session for GPP of Construction Sector in Thailand

Date: May 16, 2018

Venue: Sukosol Hotel, Bangkok, Thailand

Purpose: To promote the implementation of GPP in the construction sector, networking among Korean and Thai experts will be facilitated by sharing Korea’s experience in procuring green building & construction materials, and by providing methodologies and insights for promoting GPP and technology development in the sector

Hosted by: Pollution Control Department (PCD), Korea Environmental Industry & Technology Institute (KEITI) and UN Environment

Target audience: Relevant policy-makers from the line ministries (MONRE, MOF, MOC, MOIn, etc.) that influence the implementation of GPP in the construction sector; building & construction material manufacturers/suppliers and technical experts specialized in three prioritized products (steel bar, cement and thermal insulation).
