Executive Webinar on Fundamentals of oil and gas exploration and production: Key environmental considerations

This Executive Webinar introduces key environmental considerations related to oil and gas exploration and production.

The 90-minute webinar is aimed at practitioners in the oil and gas sector including policymakers, civil society, academia and the public.There willl be live discussion with oil and gas industry experts.

The Executive Webinar is organized by UN Environment, who works in partnership with the Government of Norway’s Oil for Development Programme.

Speakers: 

Mr. Saad Ibrahim has over 35 years of reservoir and production engineering experience in Western Canada and internationally, and heads the Petro Management Group. He has vast expertise in the areas of reservoir management, production optimization, and training.

Mr. Joppe Cramwinkel has 25 years’ experience working at Shell as a leader in environmental research and sustainability. He was instrumental in improving the environmental and social performance of the company at corporate, operating unit and project level.

Moderator: 

Ms. Marisol Estrella is the coordinator for the UN Environment - Oil for Development Partnership, where she supports on capacity building under the Environment Pillar of the OfD Programme.
