The second edition of the on-line MedOpen Climate Variability and Change (CVC) Advanced training session will be available again in May 2016. This session is organized in order to respond to the great interest of target users who had applied for the MedOpen CVC Advanced training session in 2015 held within the MedPartnership project. The session will be available on-line, in the frame of the user-friendly PAP/RAC MedOpen virtual training course, developed in English and completely free of charge.

In addition to raising awareness and improving knowledge of CVC aspects in the Mediterranean, the aim of the session will be to enhance a policy dialogue and build / improve capacities on implications of CVC considerations, the ICZM Protocol and other related national policies. The target users are: decision makers (at the local, national, regional, and international level), policy advisors, project managers, teams and experts of international organisations and institutions, academic researchers and scientists, students, and all others interested in CVC issues.

The duration of the MedOpen CVC Advanced training session is five weeks, i.e. from 9 May to 12 June 2016. Trainees with positively assessed participation in all the three activities, i.e., Forum discussions, the practical Simulation Game and in the preparation of a Final Essay will be awarded the PAP/RAC MedOpen CVC Advanced certificate.
