The Global Environment Outlook (GEO) for Cities is a derivative product of UN Environment Programme’s flagship GEO Sixth Assessment report and aims to inform, engage and support dialogue among decision makers and other actors involved in urban issues. This report will encourage urban stakeholders to get involved in finding environmental solutions for cities including sustainable livelihoods, sustainable transport, urban biodiversity, food production, sustainable infrastructure, energy, resilience, etc. GEO for Cities will complement the sixth edition of the Global Environment Outlook by demonstrating the interactions and feedback loops between social, economic and environmental drivers and assessing how different policy options can result in more sustainable development for pathways for cities.
