Ivo has over ten years of experience working with UNEP, the private sector and NGOs on building the business case to deal with challenges related to climate change, water scarcity and ecosystem management. Prior to joining the UN-REDD team he was a Programme Officer at UNEP Finance Initiative where he founded the Natural Capital Declaration (NCD), which is a finance-led and CEO endorsed initiative to mainstream natural capital integration in the financial sector. Ivo also initiated and directed an innovative project on sovereign credit risk (ERISC). He also worked for KPMG, Triple E, IUCN, Forest Trends, the Foundation for Sustainable Development and the Dutch Fund for Nature Development.
