Based on National Reports prepared by experts from NOWPAP member states, this Regional Report was compiled to provide NOWPAP countries with information and recommendations regarding future actions to be taken, in terms of increasing response capabilities for HNS incidents in the region.
Implementation of NOWPAP contributes to the Global Programme of Action for the Protection of the Marine Environment from Land-based Activities (GPA) in the Northwest Pacific region.
