La quinta edición del Reporte sobre la Brecha de Adaptación del PNUMA revisa el progreso en la planificación, financiamiento e implementación de medidas de adaptación al cambio climático, con un énfasis en las soluciones basadas en la naturaleza.

 

2020 no solo fue el año de la pandemia. También fue el año de temperaturas récord y crecientes impactos climáticos:  inundaciones, sequías, tormentas, incendios y plagas de langostas. El mundo está encaminado a un aumento de al menos 3°C en la temperatura global a fines de siglo, lo que solo intensificaría estos impactos. La adaptación ayuda a reducir la vulnerabilidad al cambio climático de países y comunidades al incrementar su habilidad de absorber los impactos y permanecer resilientes.

According to the report, cutting greenhouse gas emissions will reduce the impacts and costs associated with climate change. Publication launch
