A new waste and chemicals inspection tool has been developed to enhance the performance of law enforcement officers and environmental inspectors. This application is an initiative of several Regional Enforcement Network for chemicals and wastes stakeholders, including the EU funded ‘DOTCOMWASTE project’ from the United Nations University, GRID-Arendal and the UN Environment implemented REN project.
The application named ‘Watch-IT’ is free to download for Android, IOS and Windows and available in the Google Playstore, App- store and the Windows store. The minimum system requirements are Android 5.0, IOS 10 and Windows 10.
