Regional Seas Programme and its work on Land-based pollution 

Pollution from land comes in many forms with the majority of it coming from wastewater and agricultural runoff. UN Environment's Regional Seas Programme support member states in regulating pollution through legal protocols. The Regional Seas Programme is one of the world’s biggest ocean-related initiatives.

One of their main objectives is to work for global environmental responsibility in regards to the land-based pollution. The Programme, established in 1974, support 143 countries to protect their marine resources and the millions of people who depend on them. The video highlights some of the work carried out by the Regional Seas Programme in different parts of the world.
